What are resources - and what are they used for?
In Groupware, „resources“ refers to all objects or rooms that can be booked and managed via the calendar. These include, for example, company vehicles, meeting rooms, projectors, training rooms or other shared objects.
These resources can be created directly in the groupware and can then be booked like a normal calendar participant via the SOGo calendar or any compatible e-mail client.
A separate, fictitious e-mail address is automatically generated for each resource. This is used exclusively to accept or decline calendar invitations and thus confirm bookings.
Important: No normal e-mails can be sent to these addresses - they only exist for calendar management.
